Exclusive | Two Terrifying Charlie Clouser Tracks from ‘The Neighbor’

Even before movies had sound, they had music. The addition of a musical composition to the action on-screen has the impressive power to make romance more romantic, comedy more comedic, suspenseful more suspenseful, and horror more horrifying. And one of the better horror composers to emerge over the last few decades is Charlie Clouser, who wrote the iconic music from the blockbuster Saw series.

Charlie Clouser is back with a new project: The Neighbor, directed by Marcus Dunstan and co-written by Dunstan and Patrick Melton (who, together, also co-wrote four Saw movies). It’s the story of a man who begins to suspect that his neighbor has something sinister in his basement, and since it’s a horror movie, you can probably guess that he’s not entirely wrong.

The Neighbor hits DVD, Digital HD and On Demand from Starz Digital on September 6th, but we’ve got an exclusive preview of Charlie Clouser’s creepy new work from the film’s score. Listen to them right now, free, exclusively from Crave!
