Warren Buffett Will Give You $1 Billion for a Perfect March Madness Bracket

This sounds eerily similar to the Joker saying he was going to dump twenty million in cash on the streets of Gotham, and if I remember right, that didn’t work out too well for anybody, not even the Joker.

The second-richest man in America is offering up enough cash to put you in the Top 500. All you have to do is pick the winners in all 67 games of this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and Warren Buffett will give you one billion dollars.

The odds of pulling off such a feat? According to USA Today, it’s worse than 1 in 9.2 quintillion, as that number doesn’t take into consideration the four play-in games.

To put that in perspective, you have a better chance of hitting four hole-in-ones in a single round, getting struck by lightning twice in the same day, getting killed on a five-mile bus trip, becoming president of the United States, having a meteor land on your house, contracting the human version of mad cow disease or living to be 116 years old.

So, what the hell? We’ll throw in an extra Andrew Jackson if it happens.
