Another day, another hip-hop pop up. Kendrick Lamar has officially announced DAMN, a series of pop-up shops that will sell exclusive merchandise from Compton’s finest rapper.

The first pop-up takes place at BLK MKT in Dallas, TX, on July 14. More shops will open for select dates in cities that he will be touring in, including Atlanta, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Vancouver, and more.
Lamar dropped a hint of the pop-up shops last Friday with a mysterious Tweet (see below). While the Damn album has been hailed as one of the finest hip-hop albums of this decade, the pop-up concept is nothing new, with hip hop heavyweights such as Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Future setting a precedent.
