Did you happen to catch the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor on Saturday night? If not, you missed out on paying $100 to order a pay-per-view fight that was basically a circus leading in and ended exactly how anyone with half a brain could have predicted.

McGregor showed he wasn’t that bad at boxing with this being his first pro fight, but Mayweather — a guy regarded as this generation’s best boxer — showed he was much more experienced and TKO’d McGregor in the 10th round.

If anything, the event was a good excuse to have a cold one with the boys and get drunk while screaming obscenities at the screen. Hell, it was even shown in some movie theaters. One theater, however, had a little too much of the fight spill over from the screen to the seats.

Theater Brawl Breaks Out While Showing Mayweather-McGregor Fight

A theater in Manchester, England showed the fight and now staff probably wishes they didn’t. In the moments after the fight on the screen was over, attendees turned the movie theater into their own boxing ring and started throwing haymakers in a very chaotic scene.

Security employed by the theater were apparently outnumbered, so they had to call the cops to take care of these idiots who probably thought they could have done better than McGregor in the fight. Spoiler alert: they can’t.

Maybe these guys were bitter McGregor fans who wanted their fighter to do the impossible and beat the greatest boxer in the world. Or perhaps they’re just drunk morons who let the beer trick them into thinking they can scrap as good as the pros. Either way, the people at that theater paid for just one fight, but got two. I guess that’s good?
