Christianity is all about forgiveness, sure. But a burglar in Brooklyn was asking for it seconds before committing a crime this week. So what gives?
I guess he forgot about ‘Thou shalt not steal?’
Here’s the religious thief in question below, caught on video tracing a cross over his chest and ‘blessing’ himself moments before throwing a brick through a store window.
According to PIX 11, the burglary happened at a Brooklyn ‘fine Italian’ clothing store, the Christian burglar making off with 18 articles of clothing before running away.
Given the video evidence, he must have felt at least slightly guilty for committing this crime. So why did he do it?

Retribution? Does he know the store owner?
Did he lose a bad bet? Possibly it was this burglary or a tattoo of Justin Bieber?
Gang initiation?
An uncontrollable obsessive-compulsive complex for fine Italian clothing?
I guess we could run wild with theories all day.
The main point is, Mr. burglar, the Lord does forgive you. However, if you do the crime thou shalt serve the time.
Oh, and also, you might want to brush up on your commandments.
