One Sonic Restaurant Is Telling Customers To Refrain From Smoking Weed In The Drive-Thru

It’s hard to believe that with the plethora of studies released in recent years that have proved how powerful marijuana can be in the medical department, we’re still struggling to get it legalized across the country.

The crew at a Gulfport, Mississippi Sonic telling customers to not smoke weed in the drive-thru isn’t going to help the cause.

According to the Sun Herald, store manager Yasman Freeman said she put a sign in the window at her “restaurant” after a recent customer blew smoke in the face of an underage employee.

“ATTENTION,” the sign reads. “If you are smoking weed in the drive thru you will not be served! Please show some common courtesy and smoke and air out before pulling up to order.”

Freeman said the sign has worked so far, and people are actually getting a good chuckle out of it by taking pictures of it and posting it online along with a quirky comment. I mean, maybe they’re quirky comments. Or maybe they’re too high to be quirky.

It’s unknown how many customers have stopped coming to that specific Sonic location since the sign went up. I mean, isn’t that why you go to Sonic in the first place, because you’re baked and have the munchies?
