Friends are warning Britney Spears to break it off with her new man she met in rehab, musician Howie Day. Day was arrested in 2004 for locking a female fan in his tour bus bathroom after she refused to have sex with him. The following year, Day was arrested at Boston’s Logan International Airport after he, under the influence of sleeping pills, alcohol and stupidity, became verbally abusive toward the flight crew and began kicking the seats of other passengers. A source says:
People have told Britney point-blank this guy has a permanent barstool in the Loser Lounge. I was with her when one of her most trusted girlfriends told her, ‘You cannot let this guy into your life – after he gets a little publicity he will be gone.’ But when people say stuff like that, it’s music to Britney’s ears. She likes the drama.”
