But...it's not what you think. According to data from The ACLU, of the 8.2 million marijuana arrests between 2001 and 2010, 88% were for being in the possession of weed. After reviewing this data, one trend emerged, Black people are 3.73 times more likely than whites to be arrested for simply having the drug.
