We've seen many slam dunk fails over the years, but probably not one quite like this.
Former Lakers star and current Phoenix Sun, Shannon Brown, was a 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Competition participant. Standing at 6-foot-4, which is guard size for an NBA basketball player, his athletic ability has always surpassed his size. Now it looks like the 27-year-old may have lost a little step.
Watch what happens when Brown lines up three spectators on a court in Latvia and attempts to jump over them just past the free throw line.. Every article I've found gives no clue as to no why Brown was in Latvia, although it obviously appears the crowd expected the NBA star to show some kind of spectacular demonstration.
Here it is again from a closer angle.
No one was hurt in the attempted demo, except Brown's pride.
