Wong Kar-wai’s highly anticipated film about the man who trained Bruce Lee in the ways of martial arts, entitled The Grandmaster, is upon us, and you have a chance to be a part of it beyond simply watching the film. Here’s the official synopsis of the film: “Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Wong Kar Wai, The Grandmaster is an epic action feature inspired by the life and times of the legendary kung fu master, Ip Man. The story spans the tumultuous Republican era that followed the fall of China’s last dynasty, a time of chaos, division and war that was also the golden age of Chinese martial arts. The comic book about this grandmaster of kung-fu has been adapted by Andy Schmidt, with a team of artists handling the illustrations, including Chris Evenhuis, PH Marcondes, Keison, and Chee. You can check out a preview of the comic right here.
