The mighty Thor is bringing the thunder to the happiest place on Earth.
In anticipation of the release of Thor: The Dark World, Disney (which owns Marvel) is opening a temporary Asgard attraction at Disneyland and visitors will get to meet Thor, according to Crave’s ComicBookMovie website.
Disney hasn’t said where in Disneyland Asgard will be housed. There’s also expected to be a Thor stand-in for Chris Hemworth on hand to take photos and interact with visitors just like all the anthropomorphic animals and Disney princesses that current litter the park. This would mark the first — but certainly not the last — Marvel character suiting up to greet Disneyland guests.
Thor: The Dark World opens November 8.
