First Look: ‘Lights Out’ in Red Lanterns #24

The next big event in the Green Lantern universe is “Lights Out,” and as we’ve seen with the backstory we were given in Relic #1, the combined Lantern Corps are in danger of exhausting all the spectrum power, and that will lead to the destruction of the universe. The penultimate chapter in that story will be in Red Lanterns #24, where Guy Gardner has taken over the Reds ostensibly as an undercover Green, but once Hal Jordan and the rest of the GLC come to their miserable home planet of Ysmault to ask for the RLC’s help, it turns out Guy’s anger at Hal is legitimate.

As far as reviews go, he believes the main point of being a critic is not to pass yourself off as the final arbiter of quality passing holy judgment on a work of art, but rather just to share opinions so that the reader can decide whether or not the critic is someone whose tastes generally align with theirs.  If so, that reviewer is one whose work you can trust if you're curious about a particular title.  If not, cue loud, angry internet vitriol.
