Nintendo has announced a new Wii U bundle today that it will use to compete during Black Friday.
For $299.99, the new Mario & Luigi Wii U bundle will include a 32GB Deluxe Wii U console, New Super Mario Bros. U, and New Super Luigi U, a total value of $390 under the console’s new price point.
This is the second bundle to be priced at $299.99, with The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Wii U Limited Edition Bundle having premiered the console’s $50 price drop only a month ago. It is expected to be taken off of store shelves soon leaving the Mario & Luigi Wii U to fend for itself.
Since this bundle is replacing the previous Wii U Deluxe bundle which has been out since November of last year, Nintendo Land has received a price drop to $29.99. Truthfully, it should have been included in addition to the two new games since it’s a title that does a great job of showing what the Wii U GamePad can do. Nintendo thinks it’s a change for the better, though.
The Mario & Luigi Wii U bundle will be released on November 1st and will compete with the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One.
