What does the fastest man alive eat to get up for an world-record Olympic performance? Why 1,000 Chicken McNuggets, of course!
Crave’s NESN website reported Monday that Usain Bolt downed a a 20-piece, or two, for every meal during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. When all was said and digested, Bolt put down about 1,000 of the brown little nuggets and should have got a medal for “chowing down.”
“At first I ate a box of 20 for lunch, then another for dinner. The next day I had two boxes for breakfast, one for lunch and then another couple in the evening. I even grabbed some fries and an apple pie to go with it.” – Usain Bolt
Bolt won three gold medals and set three world records in the 10 days of the 2008 games.
