Telltale Games is Working on a Game of Thrones Title

Telltale Games is tackling a bold new project that brings even more expectation than its The Walking Dead game, a title that would go on to win a wealth of awards.

A Game of Thrones story-driven game is being developed by Telltale Games. It will be based off the TV show, and will feature some of the show’s most beloved characters.

Telltale feels it has a great opportunity to give fans of the show a chance to forge their own outcomes. Rather than seeing a favorite character killed off, a choice can be made to save the character. This same philosophy was a big part of The Walking Dead‘s award-winning success in 2012, although its cast was independent of the popular show.

Game of Thrones is only in the early stage of conception, so Telltale isn’t confident it’ll be able to bring over all original voice actors for its video game adaptation. It will try, though.
