Maybe for Channing Tatum, wishes can come true. Crave’s /Film reported Thursday that Lauren Shuler Donner, who produced X-Men, wants to take Tatum up on his desire to play Gambit in a solo movie. Tatum talked about wanting to play the cajun mutant when doing press for White House Down last year.
“I’m dying to do a Gambit movie with Channing Tatum. That doesn’t have to be a great big movie. It’s a thief in New Orleans, it’s a whole different story. He’s on board, and I have to get the studio on board. How can anyone resist Channing? He’s such a sweetheart.” Lauren Shuler Donner
We’ll just have to see if Fox wants to Channing all over their Tatum.
