During the past year two of the most prolific RPGs in history were released on PC with some extra never-before-seen perks: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. If you were hesitant at first, maybe a price point similar to a fast food meal will entice you.
GameStop is currently selling Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII for $5.99 each. These purchases are for a digital copy on PC that adds the purchased game to your Steam library.
Among the benefits for owning the latest PC digital version of each game are achievements, cloud saves, and boosters. The booster allows you to increase the power of your characters tremendously at the press of a button. If you’ve never finished either of these games, this is your best bet.

Square Enix has shown interest in bringing more Final Fantasy games over to PC, and that includes more than just already released titles. Rumor has it Final Fantasy XV will hit PC shortly after launch. But first, PC gamers need to show that Square Enix’s effort would be worth it financially.
