Some of the costs may surprise you. Fall Out Boy, for instance, commands roughly the same price that Arcade Fire does, despite the former being far past their point of relevance and the latter enjoying their current run as one of the biggest bands on the planet. Wanna book Dave Matthews? That’ll be at least a million dollars. For that price, one could put their own festival together featuring Queens of The Stone Age, The Decemberists, CHVRCHES, The National, Against Me, Incubus, The Roots, Ludacris and many more, with budget left over for one of those nice chocolate fountains fat people have at weddings.
