CraveOnline got to speak with actor Malcolm Goodwin regarding his role in the upcoming zombie TV show, iZombie. Malcolm likened the new show to a zombified version of Law and Order, labeling it as “procedural”. He goes on to say that’s quite different from normal zombie shows. Mr. Goodwin continues by explaining the role his character has in iZombie and what his character’s relationship with the main character is like.

A medical student, who becomes a zombie, joins a Coroner’s Office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity. But for every brain she eats, she also inherits their memories and must now solve their deaths with help from the medical examiner and a police detective.
Malcolm Goodwin is a Brooklyn, New York native and American actor who is likely known best for his role as Seamus Daniels in Breakout Kings. Malcolm got his start after training at SUNY Purchase College Acting Conservatory. Once he received his BA in Theatre Arts and Film, Mr. Goodwin went on to eventually direct and produce a number of advertisements on television, comedic sketches, music videos, short productions and public service announcements. One recent appearance was in the music video for the song “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. He has made other appearances in various movies and shows. Notable mentions are American Gangster, Detroit 1-8-7, Leatherheads, The Longshots, and Crazy on the Outside, House of Cards, CSI, Elementary, The Lazarus Project, Bones, Mississippi Damned, and Miracle at St. Anna.
