Forza Horizon 2 Has Way More Content Than You Realize, Check Out My Stats After Story Completion

Last night after several days of Forza Horizon 2 addiction I finally completed the main single-player campaign, or so I thought. In an effort to avoid spoilers, let’s just say early on there’s a very clear objective presented to you which requires a considerable amount of time to achieve. It took me about 12 hours to reach that milestone (8 hours driving, 4~ hours on other tasks like buying cars, taking photos, and editing liveries). Along the way I learned of how significant the game’s boasted 700+ events really is, as well as how much time has gone into the side content. Combine that with the fact that there’s actually a second finale, maybe even more beyond that, and you have yourself the most content-rich racer of all-time.

So here are the stats you need to know. After 12 hours of play, I’ve completed 15.2% of the game. I have 23 of the 210 cars in my garage, and still haven’t driven on more than 100 roads in the game. It appears that I skipped 85%+ of the discovery items during my journey. Needless to say this week I’ll be diving into the side content and online features to see how meaningful they are.

Check out my official stats following completion of the “first finale” below:

If you’ve played the Forza Horizon 2 demo, chances are you’re already sold—or at least that’s what I’ve gathered from impressions posted on forums and social media. This is a game that is fun to play, looks great, and knows how to keep things interesting. But I’ll save all these opinions of mine for our review, which will be published on Thursday at 12:01 AM PDT. If you’re impatient or just want to see what the game looks like, I’ll also be streaming gameplay tomorrow (September 22nd) night on Twitch for a full hour at 5:30PM PST.
