With Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Avengers: Infinity War looming in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s every reason to believe that the Guardians may pop up on Earth before Thanos does. But perhaps Star-Lord aka Peter Quill will be there sooner than expected.
While speaking to Zap2it, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt was asked if he would be up for making a guest appearance on Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” on ABC. In response, Pratt said “I wouldn’t rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure.”
“What’s pretty neat about Marvel [is] the mythology exists across all mediums — comic books to films to television,” added Pratt. “It’s one giant universe so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility.”
As Zap2it notes, Pratt would possibly be available to film an appearance on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” next year after his current TV series, “Parks and Recreation” finishes production in December.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director James Gunn would probably also have to sign off on the idea of Pratt’s potential appearance if he wants to save Star-Lord’s return to Earth for the sequel.
Through the first few episodes of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” only Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Jaimie Alexander and Hayley Atwell have reprised their Marvel Cinematic Universe roles on the series. However, Tom Hiddleston has also voiced his willingness to make an appearance as Loki on the series.
“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 airs Tuesday nights on ABC. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is coming to theaters in May 2017.
