UK research company YouGov has debuted a new profiler tool, that allows users to see the interests/personality traits of people across the region by typing in the name of a product, TV show, film, food item and just about everything else you can think of.

The profiler, which has pooled data from thousands of participants from around the country, has also revealed the differences between iPhone and Android users, including their gender, professions and political leanings.

According to the data, owners of the iPhone 5S lean slightly to the right politically, while Samsung S4 owners are very left-wing. Both Android and iPhone owners are dog lovers, with Android owners being more interested in science and technology.
Both are more likely to be found in London, with more men owning the Android phones and more women owning an iPhone.
