NHL Mumps Outbreak Causes Penguins to Send Three More Players For Testing

The recent mumps epidemic sweeping its way through the NHL, which has affected more than a dozen players on various teams, has possibly struck the Pittsburgh Penguins again.

Beau Bennett, Olli Maatta, and Sidney Crosby have already been affected, while Brandon Sutter, Steve Downie, and Thomas Greiss have been sent for testing. They’ll be put in isolation until the results of their tests are known.
