I can’t stand Drake. His nasal-rhyme nonsense is completely lost on me, despite the fact that the guy’s music is guaranteed panty-dropper magic for ratchet queens and the silly twerps keeping Ugg boots in business. But one thing is for certain: his formula works. Drake’s recent surprise album/mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is kicking the shit out of sales records, and every track from the release is on the Billboard charts.
Every. single. song.
All 17 tracks from the digital release are sitting somewhere on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, with the record selling upwards of 600,000 copies since its Feb. 13 release. As if that weren’t enough, king moisturizer is on an additional four songs that charted as well. For the mathematic wizards out there, that’s around a 42% occupancy rate on the Billboard R&B and rap chart.
Jesus Christ.
