A good batter always learns and adapts quickly. The above video is proof of that.
Pitchers, we have one word of advice. Never, ever throw the same pitch twice (at least not in the same location) to a batter, especially a slugger, even more so if you embarrass him with said pitch. He’s gonna be tasting blood and be out for vengeance, so he will follow that curveball and destroy it, while making sure you see him almost fall to the ground again.
It’s not like the Rangers needed that extra run from Beltre, but hey, what’s another homer to seal the nail in Oakland’s coffin, right? Final score was 10-1. Ouch.
