Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will be the Ghostbusters in the new film, due for release in 2016 and here we have an official photo of the four of them kitted out in their gear.
The photo shared via a Ghostbusters fan site doesn’t give much away, but it does show that they look badass in the Ghostbusters uniform armed with proton packs and surrounded by glowing neutrino wands.
Earlier this year it was revealed that the Paul Feig-directed Ghostbusters reboot would be shaken up by a female-led cast and since rgeh Chris Hemsworth has been added as the receptionist – a part previously played by Annie Potts.
In addition to the new names, original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts will appear in cameo roles.
Images from the set have surfaced but this is the first time that we’ve seen them posing in their Ghostbusters gear, making us just that little bit more excited for the film’s release.
