Well, there may be a lot less snow than usual this time of year (especially for us), that hasn’t put a damper on our Christmas spirit… these Christmas markets from coast to coast will put the jollies in your step.
Kitchener Christmas Market- An annual tradition in Kitchener (it’s the 19th year of the event), this market is Canada’s original German Christmas Market festival. There is entertainment, food and drink, and much more.
Vancouver Christmas Market- It’s wrapping up in just a few days but there’s still time to check out this market at Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza. There’s a full program on Christmas Eve with singers and lots of festive festivities.
Toronto- While there are number of differently-themed Toronto Christmas markets, the one to check out is the Toronto Christmas Market in the historic Distillery District. There are beer gardens, music, dance, activities, and various vendors. Visit it at night while all the lights are twinkling.
