Norman Reedus appeared in the debut trailer for Hideo Kojima’s new game Death Stranding, and he is very naked indeed.
Though is little information to be gleaned from the clip, which was all rendered in real time according to Kojima, it does have a sci-fi setting, alien lifeforms and a disappearing baby. It’s completely off the wall, as you’d expect from Kojima, but it has certainly piqued our interest.
Metal Gear creator Kojima and The Walking Dead actor Reedus previously worked together on P.T., the playable teaser for Kojima’s now-canceled Silent Hills game. When Kojima departed from publisher Konami, it was rumored that he was still set to work with Reedus on his unannounced next project, with this now being confirmed to be the case.
Kojima was also working alongside Guillermo del Toro on P.T., though the director’s name isn’t listed among Death Stranding‘s credits. Del Toro has stated he would like to work with Kojima in the future, though, so maybe the pair will collaborate on a future game.
No release date for Death Stranding has been given, so those wanting to see more of naked Norman Reedus should expect to wait a little while longer.
