He’s a giant in the world of animation, and now he’s on The B-Movies Podcast! Travis Knight is the President of LAIKA, the animation studio that brought you Coraline, ParaNorman and The Boxtrolls, and their latest fantasy – Kubo and the Two Strings – is his feature directorial debut. It’s an ambitious stop-motion animated family feature about a young boy with a magic guitar who teams up with a monkey and a beetle samurai to collect pieces of magic armor, and somehow it’s also one of the most believable family stories of the year.
