New Music | Come Fly With Bonobo And Rhye

One of the most anticipated releases of 2017 arrives early with Bonobo‘s new album Migration (Jan. 13 on Ninja Tune). If you don’t know your British DJ/producer/ from your menswear brand of the same name, you will after Bonobo’s (real name Simon Green) highly-anticipated sixth album, who’s first single, “Kerala” went #1 on the Spotify Global Viral Chart with over a million streams in its opening week.

The second single “Break Apart” off Migration is even better, featuring the rapturous vocals of Rhye. The drone shot music video (see below) directed by Neil Krug features sweeping overhead footage from some of the far away places that inspired the new album’s emotive imagery. 

“Part of the writing process was to drive up to these places and live with the tracks as I was making them,” says Green in a press statement. “This was a new part of the world to me, where the landscape is quite alien and Martian.”
