We hope you’re hungry, because drug lord and fried chicken baron Gus Fring is bringing his Los Pollos Hermanos chain to Australia for a sneaky lil’ pop-up restaurant.
Fring, who’s portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is bringing his highly pure chicken products to Sydney next week, to herald the arrival of a new season of Better Call Saul.
Los Pollos Hermanos will hit Thirsty Bird in Sydney’s Potts Point on Tuesday, 11th April — the same day season three of Better Call Saul begins streaming on Stan. There will be two sessions: a lunch session between 11:30am and 3pm; and a dinner session between 5pm and 8:30pm.
Fans who don their best Better Call Saul-inspired outfits could win some limited edition Los Pollos Hermanos merch, while 25 fans will also have the chance to win a ‘meet and greet’ with Esposito at the pop-up launch. Details on how to win are available at the official Facebook event page.
