‘Stranger Things’ Stars Pull Out Of Australia’s Supanova Expo

Two stars of Netflix’s beloved series Strangers Things have pulled out of their scheduled appearances at Australia’s Supanova pop culture expo.

Millie Bobby Brown (who plays Eleven in the series) and David Harbour (Police Chief Hopper) were due to appear at the Sydney and Perth legs of Supanova 2017 in June, but have had to cancel their trip down under “due to new film commitments”.

“They both send their apologies and look forward to heading over for a future tour,” say Supanova organisers.

Brown is believed to be working on Godzilla 2, while Harbour was recently announced as the lead for the new Hellboy movie. Their Supanova appearances were set to be their first-ever appearances in the Upside Down down under, but, alas, are no longer happening.

While Brown and Harbour are no longer involved, Supanova Sydney and Perth will still feature appearances by the likes of Back To The Future’s Christopher Lloyd (Emmett “Doc” Brown), and newly-announced stars like voice actors Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect, Batman and Star Wars), Jess Harnell (Animaniacs, World of Warcraft, Transformers) and James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Batman: The Brave and the Bold).

Supanova 2017 hits Sydney between 16th and 18th June, before hitting Perth between 24th and 25th June. For more details, head to the Supanova website.
