In her defense, I would have fainted, woken up, sobbed and then fainted again.
You know how when you were young your mom used to tell you not to mess around in the store because whatever you break she will have to pay for? Yeah, well I don’t know if this woman ever took her mom seriously. Until now. A Chinese woman was shopping in a shop in Ruili in Yunnan province when the unthinkable occurred: she broke a bracelet priced at $44,000.

But how did this happen? Well the woman was trying on the bracelet, but quickly took it off when she learned of the price. And well, that hunk of junk broke right off. And what do you do when that happens? You faint. Which is exactly what this woman did.
Staff at the shop tried to calm the woman who had turned pale. When she came to, shop staff told her she could pay $25K to settle the matter. Oh gee, what a steal! But the woman told them she could only afford $1,500.
Well, the woman may have still have to pay because police were unable to persuade the parties to reach an agreement and because of that the matter may need to go to court. Here’s hoping she doesn’t faint there either.
