The Growlers Six Fest features Yeah Yeah Yeahs Comeback

For the past five years, Beach Goth has always been a bold asterisk on the crowded music festival calendar.

Founded by Orange County psychedelic surf-punk band The Growlers, Beach Goth had the look and feel of a ’90s music festival throwback with its out-of-the-box line-up, kooky art installations, and costumed crowd.

After a series of logistical nightmares, bad press and a nasty lawsuit with its previous venue, the Growlers are moving on from Beach Goth to start a new festival with the same DIY spirit, The Growlers Six

Per ushe, The Growlers are not only playing the two-day festival (Oct. 28 and 29th) at the LA Waterfront in San Pedro, but have curated it with a crazy-good lineup that is like the ultimate backyard house party playlist: Yeah Yeah Yeahs (playing their first show since 2013), The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, Modest Mouse, Butthole Surfers, Danny Brown, Beth Ditto, Bad Brains, Girl Talk, Geto Boys, and many more (see below).

Tickets for the The Growlers Six will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 11 at 10 AM PST. For more info go HERE
