Well, I guess that’s one way to get through the day.

Let’s all talk about Samantha Cox, the 24-year-old high school English teacher, who was recently marched out of Lake Central High School in St. John, in handcuffs for one reason and one reason alone: she was filmed snorting cocaine in her classroom.

That’s right, boys and girls, a couple of students were able to film Cox cutting up a white, powdery substance on a binder and then leaning over it to snort it. The students were able to film Cox through the window pane in her classroom door, and of course Cox didn’t notice it at all as she was too busy snorting away. The students showed the footage to the principal, who called police.

Check out the footage below of Cox doing her thing:

Here’s what one student, John Rogers, told CBS.

“She tried to hide herself. She wasn’t at her desk where we could see her. She was all the way in the corner where she thought we can’t see her.”

And another student, Michael Sanchez, was of course worried about Cox’s wellbeing, saying: “It is like a serious thing. A lot of people can get addicted to a lot of things, and something like this is, it’s very heartbreaking.”

Cox now faces felony drug possession and misdemeanor paraphernalia charges.
