Donald Trump’s teeth are being mocked on social media after the former president’s interview with Elon Musk.
The 2024 presidential candidate spoke to Musk in an audio livestream on X (formerly Twitter), but his speech seemed slurred during the call. This led many to speculate that he was holding the call “without his teeth in,” fueling rumors that he wears dentures.
Trump spoke to Musk in an hour-long conversation on an X Space. The call covered topics ranging from the assassination attempt on Trump to immigration, but the Republican presidential nominee’s speech was the big takeaway for many listeners.

Elon Musk kicked off the interview with Trump by talking about the assassination attempt, and listeners immediately noticed a difference in the ex-president’s speech. Many began commenting on him seemingly having a lisp, with this then leading to video clips of the call being circulated online.
A number of viral posts on X clipped different parts of the interview, with speculation mounting that Trump was not wearing dentures during the call. While Trump has never openly said he wears dentures, footage of him struggling with his speech has previously led to accusations that he wears false teeth.
During the interview, Trump also raised eyebrows when he compared presidential rival Kamala Harris to his wife Melania. Trump also called Kamala a “beautiful woman.”
