It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Babyshambles (not troubled frontman Pete Doherty, though, who revealed a money-making scheme a few weeks ago which involved selling cigarettes smoked by Amy Winehouse), but last night BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe premiered a new track from the band, titled ‘Nothing Comes to Nothing’.
The track is taken from the band’s upcoming third album Sequel to the Prequel, and is set to be released on August 26th, a week before the new LP drops.
Speaking to NME magazine, Doherty has said of the album: “I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fucking smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back – this band has always been here.”
The tracklisting for the album is as follows:
Fireman
Nothing Comes To Nothing
New Pair
Farmer’s Daughter
Fall From Grace
Maybeline
Sequel To The Prequel
Dr. No
Penguins
Picture Me In A Hospital
Seven Shades Of Nothing
Minefield
