Dallas Green and City and Colour can’t get enough of Australia. Currently in the country to play a pair of intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne, kicking off tomorrow night, Green and the band have announced a huge nine-stop Australian tour scheduled for November.
The tour is a support to City and Colour’s fourth studio album, The Hurry And The Harm, released in early June, and should appease the legions of fans that missed out on tickets to Green’s Wednesday solo gig at The Standard in Sydney and Friday’s performance at The Toff In Town in Melbourne.
A regular sell-out when in Australia, City and Colour’s November tour will mark the ninth time Green has visited our shores and will be the band’s first time back in the country after touring last winter with the Groovin’ The Moo festival.
City and Colour’s third studio release, Little Hell, reached Gold Status in Australia while The Hurry And The Harm debuted a #4 on the Australian charts.
Green recently spoke to FasterLouder about his progression as a songwriter, saying ““I feel like I’ve reached something in my songwriting and my singing. When I listen to this record, there’s certain moments in it where I think that’s exactly how I always imagined the song would be.”
