Europe’s biggest gaming convention of the year, Gamescom 2013, is only days away. If you’re a gamer from outside Europe you’ve probably been wondering when to expect big reveals, and preferably not in German time. We’ve put together a guide so you know when the magic will happen.
First off are the press conferences of the show. EA will have a conference that will focus on its big efforts in Europe such as the FIFA franchise and is rumored to reveal Sims 4. Sony will be at the event with a huge press conference, while Microsoft has been tight-lipped about its presentation. Big news will come out of each including the release dates of the PS4 and Xbox One. Games for next gen are confirmed to be shown along with potential new next-gen game announcements. For Microsoft in particular the show is of tremendous importance heading toward next-gen after its rough start.

A day after the press conferences Gamescom will open its doors to the public. During this time news will be revealed by publishers who are attending the show. Blizzard Entertainment is expected to reveal its first expansion for Diablo 3 called Reaper of Souls. It also has something titled The Dark Below to show.
