Arctic Monkeys’ latest album AM is on course to overtake Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories as the fastest selling album of 2013 in the UK.
According to the Official Charts Company, AM has currently sold over 97.000 copies so far since being released on Monday (September 9th). Comparatively, Random Access Memories had sold 165,000 copies in its first week of sales, meaning that the Arctic Monkeys are over halfway there.
AM has been receiving glowing reviews, with Crave Online’s Johnny Firecloud declaring it the “best album of their careers”. Read his review of it by clicking right here.
