Shooter or adventure? That is the question.
On Tuesday there are two monumental releases for 2013, the first of which is Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft has decided to take the series to the swashbucklin’ world of pirates, treasure, and seafaring. With multiple noteworthy changes to the formula to speak of, this is a release that deserves your attention.
Battlefield 4 also debuts on Tuesday to show off the impressive new Frostbite 3.0 engine. You can expect to see some remarkable texture deformation and environmental destruction. If you enjoy blowing stuff up, this is the safest bet on the market.
There are other releases including a 3D Pac-Man game, the disappointing Sonic Lost World, and even this year’s addition to the WWE franchise.
