If you're ever in Columbus, Ohio for a Buckeye game, remind those around you it's mandatory to sit in the nosebleed section.
That's where you'll get the best view of the half-time show.
Ranked No. 4 in the BCS and undefeated, Ohio State has a pretty good football team. Who knew they had a marching band that was even better. Not only did the marching band stun last week's crowd by displaying an unprecedented creativeness that involved Michael Jackson moon-walking across the field, but this past Saturday's show during the Penn State game is leaving everyone speechless.
Students reportedly only had a week to learn this new "Hollywood Blockbuster Show routine." This awe-striking performance provides musical and visual recreations of Superman, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Jurassic Park and Pirates Of The Caribbean (in which they take a stab at Michigan — surprise, surprise). The video has amassed over three million views in just two days.
I've watched many marching bands over my decades of watching football and have never seen this kind of creativity. I'm not an expert, but I'm assuming Jon Waters is the man behind most — if not all — of this. He's the marching band director. Mad props, bro.
