Today’s Nintendo Direct featured some great new announcements for Nintendo fans, chief of which Super Smash Bros.’ addition of Rosalina. But Super Smash wasn’t alone. Mario Kart and Donkey Kong made a surprise visit, too.
A new Mario Kart 8 trailer shows Yoshi and gang racing around an airport, some tribal ruins, and a few fantasy settings. The graphics are alive with tons of detail in the environments and special effects to add ‘oomph’ to your weapon use.

Next up is Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. In this latest gameplay trailer the newly announced Cranky Kong makes an appearance along with DK himself. If you’re a fan of the classic Donkey Kong games, this is a game that will be right up your alley.
