The Horrors have revealed that they have finished work on their much-anticipated new album.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, frontman Faris Badwan confirmed that the band had finished recording the follow-up to 2011’s critically-acclaimed LP Skying, and that they were now looking for a font to go on the upcoming album’s sleeve.
Badwan said: “The record is finished now. We’re deciding a running order and the artwork and finally, the hardest thing of all is coming up with the name. It’s a nightmare. It’s the worst part of being in a band, or at least the most time consuming.”
When asked by Lowe of his thoughts of the quality of the new LP, Badwan replied: “I would honestly say it’s my favourite record we’ve done, because I feel like we finally got close to what we actually wanted from the songs… I’m happy with it, I’m really happy with it.”
The Horrors have had one of the most notable growth spurts in modern music, going from this…
