A new trailer for Ultra Street Fighter IV has been revealed that shows off a selection of new characters that have been added to the five-year-old game, along with a new battle system that has been thrown into the mix.
The trailer, which can be viewed below, gives us a glimpse of new additions Elena, Hugo, Poison, Rolento and new girl Decapre’s movesets, along with revealing a few new locations we’ll soon be fighting in.
The trailer also reveals some information regarding a new battle system that developer Capcom has put in place, including a Red Focus Attack which allows you to absorb damage dealt by your opponent similar to the parrying mechanic implemented in Street Fighter III: Third Strike, and the Ultra Combo Double which allows you to use both your Ultra Combos in a single round.
Along with the usual batch of gameplay updates, Ultra Street Fighter IV will also improve team battles, engage in online training battles and upload your gameplay footage directly to YouTube.
Ultra Street Fighter IV will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 in June and Windows PC in August. It will be released as a new retail game, though those who own the original can download it in the form of an online update for $14.99.
