Queen Caveat, the explosive Los Angeles-based outfit led by maniacally intense frontwoman Lauren Little, is in fifth-gear promotional mode in support of their kickass new EP Manufactured Happiness. If you were at Crave’s SXSW music showcase this year, you likely caught band doing what they do best. Now, we’re bringing you the exclusive premiere of a new video for the song “Breathe,” a poignantly burning highlight of the release.
The clip for “Breathe,” the first single from Manufactured Happiness, was filmed in downtown Los Angeles at the band’s album release show. When planning the video shoot, the band aimed to showcase their live show and put together a giant party… judging by the clip below, we’d say they succeeded. And whether crowdsurfing, drinking from a fan’s beer or belting her heart out onstage, Little’s presence is a streak of ethereal grace laced with dangerous intensity. Or is it the other way around? Decide for yourself in the video for “Breathe,” premiered exclusively on CraveOnline.
“Queen Caveat has always focused on delivering high energy and dynamic live shows,” explains the band. “For us a great show is about an experience where the band and audience are equally as involved. For years, we’ve been told our live set was way different from any video available online, so we wanted this video to capture what goes on at a Queen Caveat show. I think we did exactly that.”
As an added bonus, the band is offering up the track for a free download:
