Risk Monster, a Japanese firm, asked that simple question to 1,000 residents of Japan in its latest poll. The results aren’t too shocking. If one thing’s for certain, it’s that Japan does a lot with a little. Japan has a population of only 127 million versus the 313 million of the United States, and its landmass is less than the size of California. Despite this, it has remained an industry leader in several markets.
Sony’s PS4 has surpassed the 7 million mark within six months of launch, setting a new record in the process. Nintendo has faced trouble with its Wii U, but the 3DS is routinely topping the charts, currently moving past 45 million worldwide sales.
