WildStar will feature player housing at launch. As a matter of fact, it’s already available in the beta. Some fans have already come up with clever ways of using the building tools to do something even more radical, such as this fellow (the video above) who built his own Hoverboard park.
Put simply, the Hoverboard is one of many cool mounts in WildStar, and combined with platforming mechanics, including double jumping, you can have some serious fun.
Made cooler, you can visit someone else’s area, so works such as these aren’t limited only to the builder.
Developer Carbine Studios has seen the video among other works. Given its fan-oriented approach it might not be out of the question that we’ll see custom challenges and perhaps even tricks added in the future so Hoverboarding becomes a complete mini-game. Cross your fingers.
