Samir Nasri’s Girlfriend Goes on Twitter Rant, says “F*** France” After His World Cup 2014 Exclusion

Samir Nasri’s girlfriend has erupted following the Manchester City player’s exclusion from France’s World Cup 2014 squad, saying “Fuck France” in the middle of a Twitter tirade.

English model Anara Atanes was seemingly furious at France boss Didier Deschamps’ decision to leave her boyfriend out of his nation’s side for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil, tweeting: “Fuck france and fuck deschamps! What a shit manager!”

She continued: “Lets just get this straight! Im not mad i get my bf for 2 months…. I just think theres a level of respect to be had!”

Seemingly embarrassed at his significant other’s rant, Nasri replied to her: “Love you dont get upset life sometimes is unfair but you have to accept it and deal with it.”

Atanes later apologised, tweeting: “I apologize if i offended anyone from france, My tweets were not aimed at the nation as a whole.”

Nasri’s exclusion from the France national team, which was announced just days after he scored the goal against West Ham that secured Manchester City’s Premier League title win, was seemingly a personal decision on behalf of Deschamps, with the coach saying that Nasri’s absence would “improve squad harmony”.

However, former France international Patrick Viera has said that he believes Deschamps was wrong to not take Nasri to the tournament, saying: “If you want to win the World Cup you need to select the best player, and Samir, this year he has been fantastic.

“He did everything to go to the World Cup. He has been scoring goals, making assists. The way he has grown up is his influence on the group and the team. He is a positive lad, he has been working really hard and he is taking more responsibility on his shoulder. He has got personality, and a strong personality, [but] he never had a problem with Manchester City.”
