PAX Prime: What We Expect from Penny Arcade Expo’s 10 Year Anniversary in August

This year’s PAX Prime celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Penny Arcade Expo. Frankly, we’re stoked. The first PAX Prime hosted around 3,300 people back in August of 2004. Since then the event has exploded with popularity, adding four additional events to its roster and growing to entertain over 70,000 people per event. But we all know PAX Prime is the real OG Penny Arcade Expo, and it’s going to celebrate it this August with what will inarguably be the biggest show yet.

There are many big games coming out later this year that we haven’t seen a whole lot of. With PAX Prime landing in August, it’ll precede the avalanche of titles hitting during the Fall and Winter seasons. It will become grounds for a few new game announcements and plenty of new game footage. Hopefully that includes the reveal of the third and final playable Monster in Evolve.
